RSVP & Guests

Managing your guest list

How to add guests and households, manage plus ones, and keep your list organised.

Last updated

Your guest list is the heart of the RSVP system. Add guests individually or group them into households (couples, families, or flatmates who share an invitation). Guests RSVP by finding their household or name on your wedding site.

Households

A household is a group of guests who share a single invitation. For example, "The Dlamini Family" might contain Thabo, Naledi, and their two children. When Thabo finds the household on your site and RSVPs, he confirms attendance for the whole household in one go.

You can also create a household for a single guest. This gives you the option to allow a plus one later without restructuring your list.

Adding a household

  1. 1

    Open the guest list

From your dashboard, go to Guests and click Add household.

  2. 2

    Name the household

Enter a household name (e.g. "The Dlamini Family" or "Tumi & Johannes"). This is the name shown on the household's personal RSVP link and in your dashboard.

  3. 3

    Add guests to the household

Add each person in the household by entering their first and last name. You can add as many guests as needed. Each person's RSVP response (attending or not attending) is tracked individually.

  4. 4

    Set event invitations

Choose which of your events this household is invited to. Guests will only see and RSVP to the events you select for their household.

  5. 5

    Allow plus ones (optional)

If you want to allow this household to bring additional guests, enable the plus one option and set the number allowed. Guests can then add plus one details when they RSVP.

  6. 6

    Save the household

Click Save household. The household is now part of your guest list.

Editing and removing guests

Click any household in your guest list to edit its details, add or remove guests, or change the events they are invited to. To remove a household entirely, open it and click Remove household.

Names show up on the RSVP link

The household name appears when a guest opens their personal RSVP link. Use the names guests will recognise themselves by, matching the names on your physical invitations.

Note

Changes to your guest list take effect immediately on your published site. If you remove a household that has already RSVPd, their response is also removed.
