Cash gifts go straight to your own payment gateway account. Our Big Yes does not hold or pass through your money. Connect your own Paystack, Yoco, PayFast or iKhokha account in South Africa, or Stripe if you are getting married internationally, and guests pay you directly.
Supported gateways
Our Big Yes supports the following payment gateways:
- Paystack: popular for online payments, instant card and bank processing (South Africa)
- Yoco: designed for South African businesses, straightforward card payments (South Africa)
- PayFast: one of SA's most established gateways, supports multiple payment methods (South Africa)
- iKhokha: another SA gateway with broad local support (South Africa)
- Stripe: for international couples, accepting gifts in any currency Stripe supports
You need an existing account with one of these gateways. If you do not have one, sign up directly with the gateway of your choice before connecting.
Connecting your gateway

Open payment settings
From your dashboard, go to Registry and then Payment settings, or open Account and select Payment gateway.

Select your gateway
Choose your gateway from the list. Each gateway requires different credentials (API keys, merchant ID, or integration credentials). The connection form shows you exactly what is needed.

Enter your gateway credentials
Copy the required keys or IDs from your gateway's developer or settings dashboard and paste them into the Our Big Yes form. Your credentials are stored securely and used only to process payments on your behalf.

Test the connection
Click Test connection to verify your credentials are correct. If the test passes, your gateway is ready.

Save
Click Save. Cash gift contributions will now route directly to your gateway account.

Our Big Yes takes 0% of cash gifts. You only pay your chosen gateway's standard processing fee, which varies by gateway and payment method. Check your gateway's pricing page for their current rates.Not sure which gateway to choose?
